The 'Configurable Alert' feature allows configuring and sending automatic messages to students/managers/administrators via email or Konviva's messaging system.

In this article, we will learn how to set up alerts so that managers are notified of the need to evaluate the performance of their subordinates after the completion of specific training using the 'Behavior Assessment'."

Step 1: Defining the Evaluation Period

The first step is to determine the period during which the evaluation will be active. For example, we can establish that the evaluation will start 1 day after the completion of the course and will end 10 days after. This means that the manager will have this timeframe to complete the evaluation.

Step 2: Configuring the Alert

Now, let's configure the alert so that the manager is notified at the appropriate time.

Base the alert on the end date of the evaluation to determine when it will be sent. If the evaluation ends 10 days after the completion of the course, and you want the alert to be sent on the first day of evaluation, configure the alert to be triggered 9 days before the end of the evaluation.

Use a negative number of days before the end of the evaluation to set up the alert. For example, if you want the alert to be sent on the first day of evaluation, configure it as -9 days for the alert to be sent.

Practical Example

Let's consider an example to illustrate the process.
If enrollment was completed on 28/04, the manager will have the period from 29/04 to 08/05 to conduct the evaluation.
Today is 29/04, the first available day for the manager to conduct the evaluation. In this case, the alert was received on the first available day for the manager to conduct the evaluation.

Conclusion

By configuring the configurable alert for "Pending Behavior Assessment Application," you ensure that managers are notified at the appropriate time to conduct evaluations of their subordinates, ensuring an efficient and timely performance evaluation process.
